Data Balance Extends Microsoft Office Communications Server in Partnership with OrecX
Clearwater, Florida, December 15, 2009 — In a landmark move, Microsoft Gold Certified managed services partner Data Balance has partnered with OrecX to test and verify call recording and live monitoring solutions through the use of Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 (OCS 2007).
With many of Data Balance’s clients requiring the use of call recording or live monitoring for legal, compliance, human resource, training, and coaching purposes, the company saw it fit to look for a solution that incorporates these features with their existing platform, as OCS normally does not include support for call recording or live monitoring of voice calls. OrecX was Data Balance’s first choice to make this integration happen.

Data Balance had previously entered in a similar pioneering collaboration earlier this year with Sangoma Technology Corporation where they used OCS’ unified communications platform in conjunction with Sangoma’s A101D telephony card, with very positive results.
